What do your cars weigh?

Mine was 3440 last night. That's pretty heavy, right?

Where did you weight it? How much gas? Were you in the car?

Yeah, that sounds like a lot. Nissan's web site has the 2003 Max listed at 3239lbs for the 6spd SE. I would guess that a 2k2-2k3 would be at least 50lbs heavier than a 2k-2k1 due to the larger engine. So that would put your car at 3189lbs. I wonder where the extra 251lbs is coming from. But then, I don't know how manufacturers come up with their curb weights.

I weighed mine on a roadside scale and it came in at 1590kg (3500lbs). Subtract me (200lbs), the gear in the trunk (50lbs) and 2/3 tank of gas, It comes out to 3200 lbs. Which is probably a pretty good rule thumb. Doesn't look like there's much of a weight difference between the 2K/2K1s and the 2K2.

i think manufactures' curb weights include a full take of fuel.

I was in the car: 150 lbs.
Fosgate box: 80 lbs?
varios crap, spare tire, etc..... 100 lbs?
