The advantages to the Cattman B-pipe are (1) TIG welding, and (2) Stainless Steel. Whether those items are worth the extra bucks is up to the individual purchaser. But if I were personally in the market for a B-pipe, I'd consider the Cattman product.
Actually, I think a Cattman B-pipe and a Magnaflow muffler would be a pretty sweet combo . . . something akin to combining a Berk Tuning filter and a Frankencar mid-pipe. And the total cost installed should run under $400.00. That's not too bad, particularly when compared to a full Cattman catback system or a Greddy Evo.

its weird, i went to several muffler shops here in atl. When I ask them about custom building a catback, all of them tell me its better if i buy the ones that's already made!
no one wants to build a custom catback for me

Magnaflows are sweet.
By the way, the more I drive with my loud Focuz muffler, the more I love it. It is so deep and so clean with the catback and Y Pipe........ But I agree with kloogy. Put the resonator on last. It makes no difference to the guys at the shop.
By the way, Kloogy- this may sound weird, but I had a dream last night that I worked at Best Buy (I actually worked there in high school) and I worked with a guy named Kloogy. There was some weird **** going on too....like demons and crap like that.
What does Kloogy mean anyhow? I'm thinking about naming my future kid that.

By the way, tapwr3000, I have no idea why a muffler shop isn't willing to make a custom catback for you. We're not talking rocket-science here.
Drive out to Los Angeles and I'll take you to any one of a dozen shops that will be happy to build you an aluminized steel, 2.5" crush-bent catback w/o resonator for around $75.00 or an aluminized steel, 2.5" mandrel-bent catback w/o resonator for around $150.00. Add another $90.00 or so if you want to add a Magnaflow resonator.
Having said that, the Cattman B-pipe looks better and better. The resonator is already built-in, the pipe appears to be mandrel-bent, it's TIG welded, and it's constructed from SS. At $250.00 it's a bargain. As a matter of fact, I would have bought one had it been available when I had my catback built. But at $350.00, Cattman's muffler is a rip-off (as is Greddy's, HKS's, Stillen's, etc.). You'll save $200.00 if you install a Magnaflow SS muffler instead. And Magnaflow's construction is equivalent to any of the mufflers I just mentioned.
Kudos for coming up with the right combination out of the gate. Now act on it!

How much pipe or bends needs to be added between where the B-pipe ends and the muffler?
