Keep in mind those ratings are for 2K Maximas made after 11/99 all the way up to 2K2 Maximas. Mine was made pre-11/99, so where are the ratings for pre-11/99 5th-gen Maximas?

I've seen specials on Discovery Channel or TLC about this... the Maxima is bad for the knees and legs in a frontal collision, the lower dash gets too close to the knees. For you tall people, keep your seat as far back as possible to give your knees some space.
Any of you see the special on Dateline NBC tonight? There was another off set crash test. Even though they didn't show the Maxima, the Maxima/I30 was named and got a rating of "acceptable". The new Altima did better, got a "good" rating.
