Y2KevSE

Hey Kev!

I just heard clips of your exhaust and sounds pretty damn nice.
I read your specs and saw that you had a R/T Cat Convertor and
the Stillen Y-pipe.

What I wanted to ask you was.....

a) let's say you took off your R/T Cat Convertor and put your stock one back in......would that
make your exhaust set up sound different?

b) do you still have a 2.5" b-pipe? (The one that comes with the Greddy) or do you have a custom set up?

c) why did you wrap part of your exhaust in thermal wrap?

d) is the flex section of your y-pipe wrapped in thermal wrap as well?

Thanks Man!!

oh yeah almost forgot!! Any pics of Jane yet? haha....j/p

Thanks

a) It might make the exhaust louder. When I put the RT cat on, I had the Stillen y-pipe and Stillen muffler. Most of the droning went away and the exhaust was a bit quieter.

b) I'm using GReddy's b-pipe.

c) To keep my exhaust temperature more stable. My EGT gauge was fluctuating up and down too much.

d) Yup.

Ask her.

Hey acMax how have your stock struts held up with the H&R's??? Do you have any pics of your drop? Tirerack claims that it is a 1.4 front 1.3 rear but I wanted to see what people's personal experiences with them are...

You been asking for pictures of drops for months now. Just go get you some maxspeeds already. You know you want too!

Why is your (and other's) sig so wide? Did you make it on a 19" screen? Every time I read your post I gotta scroll righ to read your stuff. Can you fix it?

...I know, I know, I have been trying to compare what drops look the best, and get people's personal experiences, I sure don't want to spend cash getting one set and then having them installed just to find out I would have been happier w/ something else... But I am close to a purchse so eventually I will shut up. As far as my sig, you are the first one to mention that it is awkward in width... Have you checked to make sure you are using a high enough resolution on your screen? Yes, I did it on a 19" monitor, but I don't think anyone else is having trouble with it... Anyone?

Looks fine on my 17" screen set at 1024 by 768 pixels.

Ha! Just kidding, but seriously, you will have to make a choice, go to a smaller res and deal with it, or keep scrolling right for text when someone has a sig file... Decisions, decisions...

I put the text size on Medium(View-->Text Size-->Medium) and it's definitely not tiny. I don't have to scroll to the right to view anything.

I just ordered H&R springs from Tirerack at $225 plus $12 shipping, not a bad deal, so now you won't have to listen to me whine about drop pics any more!
