Installed Addco RSB today.NICE!

Hello fellow Maxima Lunitics.I installed my Addco RSB this evening. The install was fairly easy but had its moments where I wanted to bash some skulls.I found it much easier when I jacked up the car and removed a tire. This allowed me access from the side rather than underneath which was quite painfull seeing im 6ft 250lbs.Took me about 80 minutes using one jack and alternating tire removal.I took her for a rip and man was it weird at first but the car felt rock solid.Tomorrow I will be running her on my favorite 180 entrance ramp and see how shes improved.Well just felt like sharing my joy and im possessed with the damn mod bug.I need an exorcism.

Alright.I couldn't wait until tomorrow.I took her for several entrance and exit rapm runs. What a HUGE difference.Car feels like its on rails.I cant fathom what a set of good tires would add.Ok just more of my joy.

Padsy. Its an Addco RSB and I got it from custommaxima.com for 139 shipped.Install would be easier with a lift or even jack ramps.I also found that taking off a tire helped alot.Hope this helps and good luck.

It doesn't add noise (at least it didn't on mine). And to those who say "your radio was up so loud that you couldn't hear it if it DID make noise", I turned the radio OFF as I tested it over speed bumps, etc. The only time I make noise is in this one spot where there is a deep dip in the road; kinda like a reverse speed bump, but wider. That's just the bar hitting the pavement. But other than that, the install was fairly painless, except putting on the brackets by the wheels. That part took the longest, because I didn't remove the wheel. I used 3.5 ton jack stands and jacked the rear end of the car up. Then installed the bar per Addco's instructions. Then I tested it, and it did fairly well. I am gonna make some adjustments to it (to tighten it up a little more - I like my curves to swirl!!!!) and test it again. Overall... it was definitely worth the money. I got in on the group deal and got it for $115 (including shipping). Too bad the deal is over :-(
