Ok I decided I don't want a SC or a turbo. What can I do to make more horsepower as a NA engine. I already have cat-back and CAI. I am getting y-pipe soon.

What were your gains with your current mods? Have you dynoed or tried your 1/4 mile time? How does it sound and is the power gain noticeable?

B-pipe and muffler will give you a couple, but they should be done after y-pipe... Also beware, replacing the stock muffler with an aftermarket one can make things loud with a y-pipe...

 

I can't get a SC because I have an auto. So nothing else besides a pulley.

Well your going to have to give the tranny a Level 10 urgrade anyway to us the S/C, well if you want to be different you could hahave your engine blue printed and balanced, then you could bore it out a bit to bring the displacement up and then get a chip, a full exhaust system, some NOS*, .... but now you can't legaly drive on a public road way.

 

How about a port polish? Can I get one and how much horses would it give.

 

Most normal aspirated mods available for the Maxima increase noise levels and/or are illegal(y-pipe). The supercharger is in my opinion the best way to get significant horsepower and maintain factory noise levels while remaining legal.

 

just to ask how many more ponies are you shooting for?

 

I have to go get it dynoed 1st. I at least want 250hp.

i bought an AE key. Got it programmed and cut, i think it increased around 10 horses
