Maxspeed or H&R

I know this has been brought up a lot but I am getting my maxspeed springs this week and i was wondering if i should install them or buy h&r. The reason is I want the most drop and it seems everybody is experiencing different drops with maxspeed so people with h&r what drop have you established and does your car still higher in the front and by how much please let me know so i can decide what to do and thank ahead or time

Different numbers might be reported by Maxspeed wearers, but I think it is b/c of measuring technique. If you look at all the pics they look the same. They do look more even than H&R, but I am not sure they are better.

I have a FSTB and RSB with them and I am still disappointed by body roll. I hope my new Toks will solve that, but I wonder if H&R wouldn't have had better control. Oh well, too late now. I guess I'll know more later.

I have the H&R/KYB setup on my 2K2. When I first picked it up, the front was noticeably (to me) higher than the rear. But over the next few days it seemed to settle and even out. Keep in mind, I HATE Maximas that are 'slammed'. Mine is not. There is still some gap, but nothing to cry over or even really think about. The handling/ride characteristics were what I was most concerned about.

I'm still up in the air on what springs to go with. I'm gonna have to take a ride in kloogy's ride to see if I like the Maxspeeds.

well how is body roll with your setup does it handle good well i know it does but what would you compare it to as far as a stock car from the factory likea mustang or is it better also do you have a RSB and FSTB

Here is my review, I hope this is sufficient... By the way, I did NOT trim my bumpstops, H&R didn't recommend it, and I have run it pretty hard in the last day (with a passenger) and no bottoming out yet...

actually i will get mine this week i bought them new from a org member about a week ago they should be here today or tomorrow hopefully but about noflash body roll remember his gxe has a lot softer stock suspension than the se so that might be a big part of the body roll i'm just want top quality and i am secong guessing myself with maxspeed still don't know what to do yet

I dont't mean to give Maxspeeds a negative review. I like them, I do. But, like a few others here I am trying to make my Maxima handle like my last car. Don't laugh, but it was a '92 TRD-edition Celica. It was greatly underpowered, but cornered and handled exceptionally well. It was a very fun car, that I drove to the ground. I got the Max for its power to $$ ratio and figured I could tweak the suspension myself. I know I'll never be able to make it handle like a little coupe, but I've improved upon it greatly and hope that the Toks will be the icing on the cake.

By the way, while I love it and my girlfriend "says" she likes it b/c I do - she definitely misses the OE cushy ride of the GXE.

I cannot say that it soaks up rough roads like Mathew's H&R review, but I still recommend Maxspeeds. Yet, I am not sure what I would do if I had the chance to start over...

...Don't read too much into that, my butt dyno may need calibrating... Seriously, the ride to me seems almost identical, with better handling and cornering, but I don't want all you guys out there blowing your wads to get H&R and then decide I am completly insane...

Get the H&Rs

I drove Jeff K's car yesterday at the NJ meet through downdown NYC at high RPMs and it rode great, took bumps great and looks sweet, even drop. This is my opinion and I am not putting down any other spring types
