REMOVAL of body kits...

I know I tried to get some feedback a while ago, but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on how to remove the front AE body kit (I need to work on and maybe replace the bumper itself). I understand there are screws and adhesive involved...

any of you people knowledgeable about body work and what is used to dissolve that adhesive without damaging the parts themselves?

Thanks!

Use a heat gun to warm it up the 3M tape and then peal it off, thats what body shops usually do. The tape on my oem side skirts peeled off real easy with out the aid of heat.

7 bolts total for the three front pieces. two for each of the sides and three for the front piece.

the front one's easy to get at, just reach in from the front, where the vertical slits are just above the lip and reach to either side, you'll feel em. of course one more in the center.

the side pieces bolt on along the side portions, not the front facing parts of them. lie on your back and remove the clips and screws for the splash guard and reach under and inside the front bumper along where the kit contacts the bumper. you'll find two screws for each side piece.

of course remove the bolts before ripping them off with a heat gun.
