So I let my girl borrow my Max to go to work(Albertson's) and I tell her to make sure she parks away from everyone so I don't get any door dings. When she comes back home at 11:30pm, she notices that someone threw a freaking egg at my baby's back window. She calls me down from our room and I was like WTF!!! Why the f**k do people mess with other peoples s**t. I was so f***ing ****ed. Sorry, just had to vent!! Does anyone know if an egg will affect the paint at all?

 

how long was it on the paint? hours?

ive heard that eggs CAN harm the paint if left on for a while, etc.

my friends put grated cheese aaaaall over their roommates landrover while he was at work. the sun baked the cheese into the paint. when the dood finally got all the cheese off there were little cheese shadows all over the paint... stains! omg, it was so fuct up.

Nope..egg can DESTROY a paint job if you dont get it off in time. Whats worse is put a slice of bologna on someones paint and look at the results in the morning!

I hope you were able to clean it off ASAP and you should be fine as long as the sun did not "bake" it in.

 

You can also lick the end of a marshmellow and stick it to the car. I promise, I have never done it. Just heard about it.

 

Eggs WILL destroy a paint job especially if it gets cooked from the sun...not to mention the impact can chip the paint too. I've seen it done on my previous car...not a pretty site.

Not to give anyone ideas, but I've also seen cotton ***** superglued onto the paint...now that's destruction.

 

my max got egged after Easter...seems like kids dunno wat to do with xtra eggs. plus, I used to live in a ghetto area....(my max was the most luxury sedan on the entire street)

just make sure u wash them off good if it got to ur paint....eggs eat ur paint quick and will leave marks.

 

Dammit, Im screwed now. I thought i washed all of the egg off my car last night but I noticed I missed a couple of spots. I'm gonna have to wash it when I get home from work. Great, I got chips and egg marks on my paint now...

 

Yeah besides the egg itself, the shell can definitely scratch the paint.

Damn that really sucks. A while ago when I owned a 200sx(red) it got egged. I ended up with all typed of swirls,chipped and other marks from trying to get it all off. I guess your girl will understand when you drop her off for work from now on. alot can happen in a shopping parkinglot. its like a warzone. whenever Im in walmart Im thinking the whole time my car is getting keyed, hit and ran or shopping cart blasted.

 

...has some chemical that u can put on some1z hood, the size of a quarter, u have to use a certain type of fuse to lite it, and that has to be lite with a blow torch. when it get blazin, just stand back its gonna murn through the hood, through the engine block, hit the floor and burn for another 50-100ft or so. talk about evil sh*t id kill some1 if i saw them doin that thats just fu*ked up. also they got some other sh*t about freezin shaving cream cans with liquid nitrogen and leaving them is some1z car like 5-6 cans the cabin will be full of shaving cream from top to bottom in a matter of minutes. and no im not going to explainn to any1 how to do these things. so there are alot worst things then pain damage.

 

I had my Millenia S egged a while back. Someone from my apartment building threw it. I used to live in a High Rise, and I calculated someone from at least the 15th floor had to throw it due to the impact and the splatter, it hit others cars like 5 cars away (the crap that bounced off my car).

some kid i know got his car egged a while back and it destroyed the paint. not only the egg itself but when it is thrown the sheell can crack and even dent the paint. when the egg dries on there tho it really destroys the paint. he got $3800 from his insurance tho for a new paint job so he made out pretty good.

 

yah...i know a few friends who've gotten egged...had to get the whole section of the car repainted just to get rid of the "web" it creates

well actually wehn i saw this post, i remembered i had the thing, its was somewere in the comp hidden in one of the files, i forgot which one it was,i actually had to do a search to find it, so no i dont regularly read the thing, but if i need specific instructions on how to cause havoc, i have my sources.

 

Malls, Movie Theaters....any public parking lot is a warzone. I had my 2k2 maxxs keyed at a movie theater. I felt like beating the crap out of someone.
