WarpSpeedPerformance Stage II SFCs

I was curious as to who has these and what kind of result they have had on your driving. I'm seriously considering these for autocross and would like to hear what everyone has to say.

I've talked with some BMW guys about why their cars handle so well out of the box (aside from IRS and RWD.... ). The answer seems to be how intensely stiff their chassis is. Case in point, my friend has a 93 535i with 160K miles and its still alot tighter than most cars on the road. No rattles when you hit a bump at all. I figure the Stage SFCs will give us as much of that as we can get.

Isn't your car totalled from getting t-boned? Why are you looking into mods?

(Un)fortunately it wasn't totalled. $7K in damage though. Luckily, I am personal friends with the owner of the repair shop so I know it'll be fixed right. I'm going through a mod frenzy now since I know I'll have to keep it for a long time now considering the value drop after a big accident.

there is a thread about this in 'general'

nobody wants to do that because SFCs will put you in "race prepared"

ouch...

Wow, I'm already is DSP (street prepared). To tell you the truth, I'm not too concerned about what class I'm in. I just compete for personal times and plus the SFCs will help in everyday driving/handling.

I have Stage I installed (haven't gotten to installing Stage II yet). They give you more confidence during high speed turns. To my surprise, the minimal body roll from the Ground Controls are reduced.

I'm sure I would do better on the track with them, but that isn't my primary reason for getting them. I would think that they would help everyday handling by stiffening up the chassis alot. Ofcourse, the true test would be on the auto-x course. I guess I'll have to be the test animal..lol.
