Ninja kit and Sarona kit are different.......

I was just informed today at the NE meet by Rich (Pillager) that the Sarona and Ninja kits are different. They are basically the same design made by different companies. The side skirts are different however. The Ninja has these little "holes" in the side skirts (two on each side) and the Sarona doesn't have any. Personally The Sarona skirts look better without those holes. The side skirts on the Sarona kind of flare a little more than the Ninja kit, but you wouldn't notice unless it was pointed out. As far as the front and rear, I am pretty sure they are almost exactly the same. Thanks for letting me know about this Rich!

Anybody know why...

they made their kits almost identical? I mean with the complete lack of body kit choices out there for the Max, you'd think companies would try to be original...

Yeah, we have like .... 4 kits? Stillen, VIS racing, Sarona, Ninja and the Kombat(VIS racing). That's a major lack of options... I mean Civics and Integras have like 5,000,000,000 different kits to choose from...

i believe the sarona, kombat, vis, ninja, etc... are all names for the same kit (give or take a few minor variations)

vis racing sells a kit extremely similar to the kombat/ninja/sarona (whatever you wanna call it) kit.

so i think hes clumping them all together.

*shrug*

one other thing is that
the sarona is better made
if you look closely at the ninja one, the fenders are not a perfect fit...

Does the Sarona have the mounting holes predrilled?
I remmember hearing they didn't drill the holes right or not drill them at all.

The Sarona and Ninja kits are different, because they are manufactured in different countries. Sarona in U.S.A. and Ninja in Japan.

The Sarona sideskirts are not predrilled. Peace.

I would rather have non-drilled and have someone do it than have those holes on the side.. it looks pretty bad with them.. what were those guys smoking when they thought of those holes
