engine problems!!!!

engine problems!!!!

i just noticed this yesterday... when accelerating between 3and 5K rpm my car feels like its surging, could a spark plug be going bad??? ive got 63k on my car and im going in this week for the 60k tune up should that solve the prolem... any input is apreciated

I was experiencing the same problem that you explained. All I did was go to the dealer with the TSB for the transmission and they fixed the problem for me. I got the selenoid and the controller replaced. Here's a link with the TSB that I presented to the dealer.

Mine does that occasionally, it did it a lot when I used Amoco gas so I changed. It may be an illusion but an Italian Tune Up seems to clear it up. This suggests marginal ignition to me and I only have 30k.

thanks for the replies guys im thinking it may have been the gas i was using... i always use cheveron supreme and i was running late to work one day and through some BP gas in the car about $5 worth and now thats gone and put some ol cheveron back in it seems to be a lil better now

Well my car has 67k on it and it has been broke down for 2 months with a surging problem. It is still at the shop as we speak! I haven't tried the tranny TSB because I didn't feel like it was the tranny making my car act up. Oh well I am on my way to the mechanics shop right now to see what the work is, *cross my fingers*, hopefully good news!!!
