Yeah, so tomorrow I have to drop off my poor crippled i30 to the infiniti stealership in Mass. Ive been without a car for almost 2 weeks now, and its driving me crazy!! The earliest they could get me scheduled was two weeks - kinda shady. However, as you all know, there are certain things one cannot control, and this is one of them. Anyways, Im thinking of telling them about the brake problem many others and I have been having - the vibration at mid-high speeds. Anyways, Id like to hear some other's experiences with dealerships concerning the brake issue and/or the MAF sensor problems. I take it these problems are rather common among this board, unfourtionally. Any suggestions and/or advise on things they may ask and what to say? Any help is appreciated!

oh yeah, almot forgot - i will be gettin a loaner car from them - what kinda car should I expect?? Is it anything cool, or am i gonna get stuck with a poop-box dodge neon? Thanks!

 

Infiniti cut my front rotors and installed new brake pads on my 2000 I30 (20K miles) for free to correct the brake judder. Since then, the steering wheel dosen't shake during quick high speed braking.

Loaner was another I30.

How did you blow the MAF? Did you have an aftermarket intake? What year and how many miles on your I30?

 

ps. If you do have an aftermarket intake or even just a drop in K&N filter I would return everything to STOCK before taking it to the dealer. If you don't they will likely give you a hard time and try to make you pay for the new MAF.
