I need help deciding which exhaust I want to put in my
02 Maxima.The ?? is should I go for the cat back or
just the muffler? Also, which one? Is it worth it?
Would I notice a difference? Help me guys. I am new
at this. Thank u in advance.

 

I hate to be the one to give you this answer but the search tool will answer your questions. This goes around every week dood. Sit back and read some, I am sure your answers will be found.

Greddy, Stillen, catman and Apex are the only cat-back options for the 02. HKS makes a rear section but it is high priced. It all comes down to taste here. For right now it won't help much until you can get a Y pipe or header-Ypipe option. For now it will mostly be noise.

 

2K2THEMAX got a custom cat back done on his 2k2 GLE at a shop here in Montgomery for $399 installed.

Took him from 14.44 to a 14.31 at the track...

 

I am sorry dood, but he could cut that time just by hitting his shift on time. Heck, tire pressue could take a 10th of a sec off. and for $400 I better get better then a 10th of a second.

i understand that a tenth is not worth $400 but you have to look at it this way those tenths add up a y pipe and intake you could possibly break into the 13's if its cold out and you can lauch your car perfect
