Wondering which kind of cone filter is the best hp-wise. I have a frankencar mid-pipe with a K&N filter right now. I've heard things about mosterflow, and others. anyone have the facts? Thanks

Re: Filters
Apexi's paper filter seems good and effective to me. and I havent heard positive things about monster flow.....but you wont be able to tell any HP gain between filters. on the other hand, the more important thing is the quality air that one filter can produce...so it wont damage ur MAF.

i just remember things, even if ive read them a while ago. i just dont like to read something some1 else wrote and later on say the same thing and claim im the one who though of that like some others. but u are right, thats a very smart thing to do to protect the MAF sensor. just not every1 has that option. peace

That's not a bad idea to just buy a new one instead of cleaning and re-oiling it. I've read that this seems to be where a lot of MAF problems happen.

hey Bryan...question, can ur Apexi Filter goes on to just one MAF adapter without the second one and silicon hose?
if it can, I would get it for my back up.
