Anyone have a Sunlit Sand 2K2 6spd.?

I feel like I am the only one

It seems like everyone has Sterling Mist or Grey Lustre, maybe a few Super Black or Icelandic Pearl. Maybe there were not that many Sunlit Sand 6spd. built in the first place. I know it took some searching to find mine. Don't get me wrong, I love the color. Just feeling a little lonely.

Maybe it's a senior citizen's color. I see a lot of 2K-2K1 GXEs and SEs in that color, but everyone driving them looks like they could be my grandparents. Old people have good taste in cars around here.

By the way, Sunlit Sand chips just as easily as any other color. Nissan should be praised for their innovative use of watercolor and magic marker technology.

Me Too!

nissanisgood,

I have a 2k2 6spd in Sunlit Sand and I love It !

I live in Arizona so Sunlit Sand, Sterling Mist, or White were about the only colors bearable out here.

Maybe it is just you and I but I love the Sunlit Sand Color.

Thank God

I was beginning to think I was alone. I am in Georgia and it is hot as hell here. Nice and humid, too. Glad to hear that you like the color. It really does help keep the car cool. I might have gotten Sheer Silver if it had been available, but I had just sold my silver Frontier and wanted to try a different color. Oh, I mean "Platinum Gold" Frontier, but unless you were in the right light it looked like plain old silver to me.

Do any car companies use regular colors anymore? What ever happened to those old wacky colors like "red" or "black." Like "Super Black" is somehow darker than "Black" or "Sheer Silver" is more silver than, umm, "Silver." Sorry for the rant, I am feeling very simplistic today.
