'03 TEP Parts

Hey guys-
I've been trying to order in all the '03 TEP dash parts, all I have gotten is the upper vent piece. Hope the pic gives some idea of the different color.

From Nissan, the mirror is big $$$, the dash pieces are pretty reasonable, I'll check it out in the A.M.

Wow, that looks nice! Any other pieces to complement this TE piece? Are the other vents available in TE color scheme? Thanks for looking out for us, Dave!

In all of Nissan's photographs, the color seems more gold-toned than that photograph. I'm going to need to stop by a Nissan dealer and take a look at one of those TE's.

I saw this one... http://www.nissannews.com/multimedia...2003maxima.jpg

Maybe it is just the lighting...even the door handle in the photo you posted looks a bit gold-toned.

Here ya go-

Upper Vent- $46.08
Finisher for A/C- $19.42 (auto air only- there is no TEP w/ manual
air)
M/T shift finisher w/boot- $120.21 (auto is same as non-TEP)

It would seem that '00-'02 M/T's w/ auto air are the prime candidates for TEP stuff!

Thanks Dave.

Does part of this finisher cover the accents to the Bose head unit? Note in the below picture that it is also finished with the TE package colors.

Then there is the question about comparing the adaptors on the Bose unit in the photo with the original Bose, 1-disc setup to see if they are a direct swap.

Michael- The radio for TEP has a different part #, that finisher is not available separately. Hopefully, I will have an '00-'01 HU to compare to the '02 at some point.

Kpazzo- The '02 Nissan steering wheel emblem comes only w/the air bag for big 'ol $$$.

If you're planning any trips to eastern Asia anytime soon, you can probably find a few in the auto shops. Hong Kong, Manilla, Kuala Lumpur are all good for gizmo's and items like that. I suppose Tokyo too, but you'd pay too much for it there.

Thanks for that nissannews link. The interior on the 03 looks so tight. Not the little trim pieces, but the fact that the frost color is carried throughout. No more of the two-tone which I didn't like (I know many people do though).

You're right, it isn't that bad at all. I'm going to be getting the Glacier Pearl w/Frost interior, so I'll have pretty much what you got there...except I'm going to do aftermarket leather later.

Probably makes more sense to buy something portable like a Garmin GPS V. Probably cost you about the same as the compass mirror but give you a lot more for the $. Just my $.02.

yea, but the only problem is it's pretty hard to keep clean since the leather is light color. Any dark marks are noticeable.

Who has seen this stuff in person? Anybody? Is it a brushed aluminum look? These pictures just aren't doing it for me. Any opinions on how it would look with the AE shifter **** or, of course, the six-speed **** with that brushed aluminum?

All I've gotten in so far is the upper vent and the M/T shift surround. When I get the A/C finisher in, I'll take some pics, but the TEP Bose HU has the titainium trim that is not avaliable separately.
