I'm rich!!!

or at least I was rich..but I just gave it to custommaxima!!!

I got my tuition refund today (yippee) in addition to an additional 600 bucks!!!

for those of you who do tuition refund and are working on a graduate degree...the tax law has changed for 2k2..so graduate work tuition refunds are now TAX EXEMPT...well they are in the state of florida anyway

i was going to buy the sarona body kit but I don't want to loose my streetscenes grill and valence and I haven't seen anyone with a bodykit and the streetscenes grill (and if you have done so, please post pics so I can see it and fall and love and have to take back the shoes i just bought an hour ago!!)

oh well.....I got the sts and the rsb instead...my max will be pimed out on the dl

btw one other thing...I like the sarone kit but I don't want to paint it the same color as the car if I do get it...since she is Sunlit sand I was thinking of having the 4 pieces painted a glossy black color so the car will be two toned and sporty....what do ya'll think??

not always!!! u know the ninja kit replaces the entire front and rear bumper, ,right??? so he would have an all black bumper, black sills, and black full rear bumper on a gold car.. in this case different is not good

Congrats on the purchases! I thought Florida didn't have a state tax anyway? I thought they just had a tax based on assets held.

no state tax but the IRS up until now treated tuition refund as income for graduate students so 100% of my tuition refund has always been taxed for my graduate work.

undergraduate work is not taxed and is not considered income....and finally graduate coursework is the same way!!

the federal gov't was doing the taxing!!!

You have no desire to get some 17 or 18 inch rims with that money???

i thought about it...really I did! but all the rims that I really like....are like 230-350 per rim and that DOES not include the friggin tires

I don't want to spend that much on rims....trying to keep my priorites straight and have money set aside for emergency situations

for the kit it's 800 shipped and I got a hookup on the bodywork (i have to put out.......lol just kidding..really I am!!!.....i would do some computer work for him --training and upgrades)

but if i can't keep the streetscenes gril...no bodykit for me!!

Thicknes, you rock babe, but two-tone Max? Do you drive a lexus? No you don't. Don't do that to your dignified Max, it will get all ashamed of itself and break down on purpose so its friends won't see it out dressed like that...

I don't think this one looks too bad, the blue and silver look good especially with the rims. But most color combos wont look good.

actually I am not overpaying...graduate work costs loads more than undergradute...and then they tack on additional fees for online/distance learning and my job only pays 50% tuition refund

I took nine credits for my last semester that came to $1900 bucks and didn't include the 3 books that I still had to buy for the class, AND the fees that i was charged for actually wanting to participate in the graduation ceremony!!!! egads!!!

so that extra money was a blessing and I am spending all the extra on the car......and a lil sump'in sump'in for myself!!!

Hmm, I think the saved money should go to help Florida State University, you all are still second to UF. J/K, my family holds the records at UF for most people to go there, sixty something alumni of UF. So my blood runs deep, and had to throw a lil jab in there, hope you understand Miss Thikness.
