My girlfriend got a card in the mail for the Nissan dealer that said it was time for 7K maintenance. I don’t remember everything that was on the car but the main thing they wanted was to have the radiator flushed for $50-60. I have never heard of flushing a radiator at 7K miles. Did anyone else get this same card from there dealer? Is this really necessary of is the Nissan dealer just trying to get some extra money?

Thanks for any help

John

In my opinion, you don't need to flush your fluid out that early. So, to answer your question... yes, they're trying to get extra $$$ from you.

well, check your manual...

I wouldnt do it in my part of the country. I dont know, maybe its a yearly thing in extreme cold areas? doubt it tho. I mean if you want to call them on it, check your owners manual, ask them wtf the deal is.

I always hated bringing my car to the dealers. Your car does NOT require a flush usually until 30K. Always think twice before you say yes to a dealer.
