I'm not going to slap a 4G check on my car, and roll on it. Like I said before, I like the BLING of chrome. Many of you guys call that ghetto, I guess it all depends on where you live. Thanks for your "Humble" opinions.... Im still searching . Whatever I get, it will be chrome. ...... Thanks my Org- y Friends...
For the love of GOD kloogy, if you love chrome, take our advice and get 18x8 Mille Miglia Evo5 in chrome from tirerack with 245/40 and it will cost 1/2 of that 4g's and still have bling! Plus your car will have wheels on it that will actually still ROLL when you press the gas!!!

Rims

If you want chrome that badly like I did you can get rims similar to mine just larger. Mine are 17's and now I wish I went bigger.they are heavier than alloy but they are not as heavy as some of the other chrome rims around.

Here is a link to a pic

Actually my beloved ORG friends. I have a great deal for 19X 8.5 Mille Miglia's right now in SILVER ! I might just bite on it for now. If I dont like them, then I will just chrome them later. My main dilema is not so much the weight. I drive everywhere in my car, and having owned lightweight centerlines in the past, I know how easily they DENT ! The heavier the wheel , the stronger it is , unless you get an HRE 3 piece wheel ! My car will look kick a$$ in Mille 19's, as far as performance goes. The most I can gain is maybe 10 pounds more per wheel over stock. Thats 40 LBS total ! Thats the difference between me having drank a 12 pack when I race you or not ! ...

Thanks for the Disses and Praises. When I post a thread, I welcome both !

Kloogy, good quality lightweight wheels can be extremely strong. Ive hit potholes that i swear would bent the rim and they come out fine.

If you want bling and also keep the sporty look of your car, go for a set of RH EVO C5 19's in chrome. In chrome, they are a good combo of ghetto fabulous and sporty looking.

...Hey kloog, this is a tough thing to hear, but the alloys are 'unsprung rotational weight' so they count against you more than regular weight in the cab... What I have heard is that for every pound of unsprung weight you add is like adding 8pounds in the cab, so if you add 40 pounds to your wheel and tire asssembly it is like adding a 320 pound person in your car 100% of the time!!! That 1:8 ratio may not be 100% accurate and you probably won't wind up adding that much weight but consider that the ratio is not 1:1 since the weight comes before the suspension can absord it...

Those are nice, but I saw that they only make them in 4 lug. Is this right , or not ?

If you plan on selling the R6's w/tires, let me know!

I just picked up a set in 5 lug. They have a unique 8 hole design that accomidates 5x114.3 and 4x114.3. The eight hole design makes the wheel hub stonger because less material is removed from the hub.
