service engine soon?

i have 2157 miles on my 2k2 maxima auto and the 'service engine soon' light came on either today or yesterday, but i noticed it today. what does it mean? i raced sum1 last night, but i only revved to 5500 rpm, so i dont think thats the prob. the car runs fine. can any1 explain this to me?

I assume you haven't modded your Maxima yet, slickrick. Under the circumstances, I'd suggest you take your car to your dealer and let them figure it out.

First check your gas cap. Make sure its on tight. Then just hit the dealer, throw a fit and get a loaner!
