I am thinking about removing my bose subwoofer and replace it with the 10" kicker solobaric in a box. Anybody has any idea about the wiring? Or is there any connection kit that I can buy so I can used the original wiring on the maxima with Bose system?

thank you

Nissan system is not gonna have enough power to run a Kicker. As far as connection, Get a line to RCA converter, use the speaker inputs from the subs to put in the converter, and use the RCA to plug in a OEM Amp and that'll be the cheapest solution. MY guess is its gonna be too much bass and would have to turn the volume up real high to listen to mids/highs. Its an idea but not sure if its worth it.

I have another question, How to by pass the power output line of the subwoofer so I can use external power amp to run my subwoofer?

The speaker wire thats comeing to the bose sub, disconnect it from the bose sub, and connect it to a Line converter. this is something u'ld have to purchase. or if U get a cheap amp that has line input then U don't need to purchase this piece or RCAs. as far as power to the amp, U would have to rob that from the battery and ground in the trunk. Now I'm thinking since the bose supplies power to the speakers when the radio is turned on, u can prolly connect a relay on the power wire coming to the bose sub, and attach a relay to it and connect it to the amp for remote power. BRO THIS Is like a super rig but it should still work.
