How many miles are you getting on a full tank of gas? Does anyone know how to get more by way of modifications?
Thanks

I managed to get roughly 220 miles on half a tank of gas (filled up after that and checked how much i put back in) - or roughly 24mpg a couple of times after the highway speed limits here in Houston was lowered (55mph).
If purely city driving i'm lucky if i can get 19mpg.

Re: 380 to 430 regularly
You definitely have to change your username
Btw, a NAV is considered a mod... should give you 5hp to the wheels

Re: Re: Gas Mileage
My new GLE 2002 Max is almost 2 months old now and I use 93 octane gas. No mods. I only get 295-300 miles to a full tank and I never gun it or anything. I have yet to get over 300 and I completely empty the tank. I drive 30 miles daily in the city. I'm in SA, Texas.
Is there any mods that I can make to get better mileage? Please advise.
Thanks

Re: Re: Re: Gas Mileage
We'll, after going off of the mileage and not the trip I still only get 290 miles a tank. I made sure that I didn't go over 2000 RPM's. By the way, my trip matched my mileage calculation.

I use 93 or 94 gasoline for my auto 2k SE.
Drive on the highway 90% of the time. My optimal speed is about 85mph. On the summer I get about 360 miles for about 16.5Gallons. In the winter it's much less than that, probably not more than 310.

I did a test where I put 6 gallons of prem. in my tank anf it gave me 128 miles B4 the light came on. Then I put 6 gallons of reg. in and got 117 miles B4 the light came on. I would rather put reg in my tank. Do yell at me for putting reg. in my tank it's reccomended to put 92 or above in for maximium performance.

First of all, I would not use the 'empty light' as an accurate reading of how many gas you have left in your tank.
And second of all - it's your car, so it's up to you what kind of gas to use. In my case, I own the Max, and want to get out of it as much life as possible, so this is a primary reason why I use 93+ gas.
