A Ferrari 360 Modena would beat you . As would a Mcclaren. And hey while we're at it, a Z06 Corvette, a BPU Supra...there are lots of things that could beat a 2k2 Max. On the other hand, there many things it can beat. Just use your best judgement. if it has 100+ Hp over you, you're almost surely gonna lose.

 

M5, M3, 911 Turbo, Kevin (no G), Lamborghini's, SLK 320 (SC'd), several 4th gen's w/ SC/TC.

Quite a lot really. And if you don't know how to drive the 6spd well probably a lot more.

 

Crappy launch, a minivan can take you. Missed shift, etc., etc., etc.

Blown Honda's can take you. NOS fed Mitsu's can take you. As far as specific cars, this is way too general and immaterial to really reply to.

Pick a car you want to take and search on it. you will find some who have won and some who do admit to losses or ties.

I've raced several cars on the street when i first got the Max but i've stopped doing it lately after learning from other people's mistakes.

On the road it's very hard to say who actually wins over what as in most cases it's a driver's race.

As far as the Altima goes, it's variable as well. A lot of members on Altimas.net get mid-high 14's for auto's and mid-low 14's on the manual - similar times as what Max owners have posted.

Tell you the truth I have not raced many cars in my 2002 SE yet but I have not lost to anyone yet either

Audi S4 on the highway. It was probably Auto but I am not sure. Not like I can ask either at the time when we raced. He was modded slightly.

BWM 540 probably Auto too but I don't know, he had some moods too.

Off the line some trucks, SUV's and mini-van will get a jump on me. I lost by 49 car lengths vs. a Grand Cherokee in the snow.

 

Fact is, you never know what someone has done to a car anyway. There are a lot of sleepers out there. I had an Acura Integra pull me by three car lengths after about 60 mph..after I had pulled him by three off the line..and I was in my rx7!!!! He later admitted to running low 12's and running 24 lbs. of boost!!

 

Yep...I also got smoked by a Camaro SS in my 02 6-speed. In my 01 auto, the list would be too long.

It's gonna be ugly. Don't mess with SS Camaros. They and the Z28 (Same engine) are 5.7 Liter V-8s with over 330 HP. Trust me, no Max has a chance if it's N/A. The 2k2 like you have actually could do decently. You would lose by a few cars from 0-100. Probably I'd guess about 4. Depends on your launch. Those suckers can't launch well at all.

 

I got KILLED. By like 6 car lengths. KILLED. I have mods too. KILLED.

 

SS Camaro...by only one to two car lengths
Ferrari 512...by 12 lengths...well, 12 semi truck lengths.
Supra...by 5 lengths (loudest turbos I have ever heard)
