We just received the new FSTB for 5th Gens yesterday. They're very beautiful pieces. I've put them on our website if you want to take a look. These are a little bit more expensive than the 3rd and 4th Gen models, but they come pre-packaged in their own box and also have installation instructions (We've re-written installation instructions on our website). Check it out and tell me what you think.

I am assuming this model will not require modifications to the driver's side strut tower. Right?

I'm suspicious . . .

The end-plate in the graphic looks exactly the same as the previous version. That means you'll have to modify the driver's side strut tower to make it fit.

Re: I'm suspicious . . .

No, it is designed completely different from the 3rd and 4th gen version, trust me. Why would we sell one just like it?? :0)

what about the one that is suppose to fit perfectly for 99 Maximas. Is that in yet? When can we expect it?

Re: kaleb

The 99 Maxima had the same bracket as the 2000 didn't it? Then this bar should also fit perfectly, but we just haven't confirmed it yet.

wasn't there a change in the middle of the 99 Maximas, which is why the bracket on the driver side gets in the way.. ?

Re: Re: Re: kaleb

It seems they started using the hood ledge from the 2K Max in some of the 99 Maximas, since the 99 Max bracket is not functional, but it is used in the 2K.
