2002 water pump
#2
It is just above and to the right of the crank pulley (looking directly at the pulley) on a 2k. A 2k2 is probably very similar if not the same. Looking from the front of the car it would be down on the left towards the front of the engine. It's probably obsecured by a bunch of crap plus it has a cover.

The VQ series engines have a concealed water pump that is driven by the timing chain. (yeah thats right 1995 VQ30DE to present day VQ35DE)
If you're facing the front of the engine (left side of car) you'll notice an access panel towards the lower right of the front engine mount. You'll have to remove that cover to see the water pump. If for some strange reason you ever need to replace that pump it would be a B1tch to do to say the least. You would have to remove the timing chain tensioner and pray you don't knock the chain off any sprockets.
I have never known or heard of any VQ needing a water pump, so the chances of you needing to replace one are very slim.
