weird groaning noise
weird groaning noise
when i go into the dip in front of my drive way, there is a groan/squeeking sound coming from the right front strut mount area. It only happens when the left front tire goes into the dip first, then the sound comes from the right front tire. I can now hear it kind of around underneath the car also. It sounds like metal being stressed/pulled/squeezed, a pretty loud sound... I guess I describe it as a groan. Anyone know what that is, it doesn't happen everytime so I'm not sure how to duplicate it to a mechanic. I've had a fstb for about 4 months already on 40 lbs of torque, so I'm pretty sure it's not that. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
