Power Window gripe...

ok in the 2k2 max, i'm sure most of you know that by holding down the unlock key on the keyfob or by holding the key to unlock on the door, the front windows roll down. now you can't roll up the windows with the remote, but you can by holding the key to lock on the door. so i left all the windows down, and i'm out of the car already. i wanted to bring them up so i put the key in and held it on lock... now my gripe.. only the front windows went up, leaving the rear windows down. nissan should've made all the windows go up.

ok, unrelated.. i think this has been mentioned before, but does anyone have a problem with their doors locking by themselves? i remember my doors locked right when i unlocked them, opened the door and sat in. i didnt even close the door yet and they lock.

My window gripe on my 2K is the stupid auto down button on the driver side window. Push the front for manual and push the whole thing to drop entirely. Well, that damn button sticks and everytime I push the front it goes down all the way. It did that more than a couple time this last winter and I nearly froze.

The cool thing is that it has an "auto up" position. This is the only car that I have ever seen this on. And the 2k2 even has an auto for the passenger window.

I was showing that feature to my friend that has a 540i... He then showed me that 1st the front windows roll down, then the rear, then the sunroof opens... well what do U want for a 70,000 CDN car. But his won't roll up from the keyfob either.

i still wish all the windows would go up with the key held in lock position... not just the front ones.

I agree with you and it could not have taken much to do it either.
There may be a reason though... Only god knows what.

Well the primary reason for the auto down remote is to let the hot air out in the summer b4 you get in. Aside from being cool, why would someone leave their car, then decide to roll up thier windows after the fact? Could be a liability thing too..like getting your baby getting locked in a shut car on accident.
