Cut a CV (?) boot replacing strut...help..

Say folks, I fukked around and accidentally slit into the rubber boot which I believe is the CV boot while replacing my front strut yesterday. Didn't realize it til washing the damn car today and saw some grease on the inner rim. What are my options? Should I replace it ASAP or can it ride for a while? Does duct tape work? Damn I'm ****ed at myself!

You have to take the tire off, Take the center bolt off from the Hub, Remove the Spindle, Remove C Clip from transmission end and slide the whole 1/2 shaft out. Then take the C Clamps off of the axle and remove the old boot, then install a new boot. The way it is right now, I Imagine it will last you 30 days before total Axle failure. Better you fix it now for a $20 boot then later at a $300 Axle..
