Hit By A Flying Hood.......

TODAY AROUND 5PM, WHEN I WAS ON THE WAY HOME ON 405 FREEWAY S.CAL. I WAS DRIVING 75MPH AND FOLLOWING AN OLD CHEVY TRUCK, THIS GUY HAD THE SAME SPEED AS ME. SUDDENLY, THAT CHEVY'S HOOD JUST POPPED OUT AND WAS FLYING TOWARDS ME..AND U KNOW WHAT HAPPENED MY LEFT HID HEAD LIGHT ASSEMBLY BROKE, HOOD WAS FCUKED UP..SAME AS BUMPER! GOTTA REPLACE THE NEW TIRES,TOO, IT WAS ALL FLAT. WHAT A DAY THINKING OF LET THE INSURANCE TAKE CARE OF IT. MY HEART WAS HURTING SO BAD....FORTUNATELY, IT DIDN'T GET INTO ANY WORSE!

PEACE

Who's insurance are you letting take care of it..if it was the hood from the guy in front of you he is responsible..make him/his insurance pay for it..that is some major damage (headlight alone is like $800)

Could have been worse. I hate the 405/ 5 Freeways. There is also garbage all over the road. I once almost hit a sofa in the fast lane. I hope you got the guys info and make his insurance fix you up.

reminds me when I had my old car, I was on rt 22 in Bridgewater NJ and a trailer hatch flew off the back of a pickup. I was too in the center of the lanes so the thing hit the front bumper and went right under my car splitting all gas lines and gas tank, slicing the muffler in half and having to replace the cv boots. The worst part about it was the guy didn't know what happend and kept driving.. and thats not to say that other accidents didn't happen.. at least seven other cars got into something trying to avoid it or getting a flat.. Watch out for those cars in front of you

Since when has this forum turned into immigrant bashing fools..??

Last time I time I checked this nation was founded by immigrants and continues to be made up of large immigrant populations. If we had this forum in the early 1900's that truck would have been full of Polish, Italian, Irish, or any other residents of countries not doing so well at the time. Keep it to the subject guys...

Dude, I totally feel for ya. My 5 day old 2k2 got attacked by a flying plastic pickup bedliner on the highway about a month ago. I hate arseholes with POS cars that fall apart and crash into nice ones. How the hell do they get those turds inspected???

Listen NEWBIE. I , as well as a lot of ORG members am hispanic. My idea of making it in this country is not driving a vehicle in a hazardous manner down a congested freeway. Why dont you go explain your, IMMIGRANT policy to all the people that died last week on Interstate 8 in San Diego. ! Take that thumb offered to you, and stick it !

You are 100% right. The person that needs to be calmed is not either one of us !
