Re: For those with FrankenCar intakes....

Something must be wrong. I ordered mine on 6/20 after 5pm and got it on 6/24. It came USPS. I spoke to him last week so I know he wasn't on vacation but he maybe this week.

If it shipped 6/25 you should have it by now.

See the problem is I'm not sure if it shipped or not, I check paypal and the money was already recieved. But I can't get in contact with them to see if my order was shipped yet. I was talking to steve thru email asking him questions about what all came with the midpipe. Then when I asked him about my order I didn't get a response...

I would definitely check with them. I ordered mine on a Monday morning, and got it Tuesday afternoon! I am sure my case is exceptional because they are in Mass. and I am in CT, but being in PA you should have gotten it already. But then again you have to weigh in the USPS factor, and their amazing ability to lose packages.

Yeah, I heard he has stopped production. He has moved on to making CAIs for the Civic Hatchback and the Saturn VUE. I think he is also going to produce magic FrankenCar emblems that deliver 10hp to our ever-so-famous butt dyno. At least, that's what I heard.

uuuuh. i actually have a berk intake but was closely following the threads for both the berk and the franken prior to purchase. just from what i've read here on the org, the frankencar dude seems to be a stand up guy.
keep trying to get a hold of him, i'm sure he's got some explanation.

I just sent him a PM on the .org and this was his response:

"the 4th gen midpipes are currently on backorder for about a week, i will ship them asap. my powdercoater is clsoed for this week and i'm waiting to get some back."

I don't have a 4th gen.. I sent back a reply stating that I'm a 5th gen and haven't recieved a response yet. When did you order yours and what gen are U??
