Bulb problems.

i need some help with some problems i am having with my new headlights...i was driving about 40 yard behind my friend and he noticed that one of my headlights was brigher than the other one and looked stupid..i tried to check it out but you cant tell from close up...any suggestions on what to do or are these just cheap bulbs? thanks for any help anyone can give...

Since you did not indicate here or in your profile what year Max you have, whether there are aftermarket bulbs in use, etc. it is kind of impossible for members to answer this at the moment...can you give us some more info?

oops

ya that would prob. be helpful, i have a 00 se and i have aftermarket MAX xenon lights...i really like the way they look, but if one is brighter than the other from far away, it will look stupid...

Are they aimed correctly?

One may be pointing slightly up, appearing brighter then the other from a distance.

You might want to check that out first.

You might need to have it re-aimed. Turn your lights on and look at the ground in front of the car. The light form both lights should be even, if not one of them is aimed wrong.

ok so if they are aimed wrong, how do i fix it? i thought they could only fit in the harness one way? i am confused...
