Engine Belt Replacement

I'm coming up on 40,000 miles and wanted to get the underdrive pulley put in with the engine belt replacement. (i know its a smaller belt) Does anyone know when you are supposed to change your engine belt? Mileage?

IIRC there isn't a published mileage for changing accessory belts... you can check their condition pretty easily and change when it looks like they need it. Most people find it a good idea to change at the 60k service, just because, some at the 30k service.

I have driven with stock belts for over 90k because they never started looking bad or slipping. I finally changed them along with the timing belt on a '92 Integra.
