My car had its 2nd set of front rotors replaced only 3K mi ago, and looking at the wear surface, I see like two grooves on each rotor. They are located about 1-1.5 inches apart, and to the center of the working surface where pad meets the rotor. What do you guys think is wrong?

I have seen what unevenly worn rotors look like, but not like to grooves (scrapes, whatever you call them).

Ahh...those brakes look really good behind those rims. Now all you gotta do is remove that gold "racing stripe" on the side

 

Have you changed the pads too?

 

yes, Nissan dealer replaced rotors and pads. OOOps sorry boys, those groves come out to be blueish stripes...but how come to the center of the surface..

IGOR911, I told you many times and I will repeat again: I paid $0 replaced under warranty! If I had to pay out of my pocket, I would get Stillen rotors without question.

 

yes i also have the axxis pads. AND I LOVE MY STRIPE!!! hehe

 

that pinstripe doesnt look good on dark-colored car....02C
