Eh, I searched these forums for Rear Sway Bar, and found out a lot of info, but very little description on what exactly it does for you? Not sure what is meant by "tightens up the ride". Does that mean you you feel potholes and bumps in the road more because the suspension is stiffer? Or does it have something to do with cornering? I would think the latter is true, but I'm not sure exactly what you experience once you install this RSB.

Try searching under RSB...somebody explained it in technical terms pretty well a lil while ago.

No it means that when you change lanes or corner
the body dose not roll as much giving the car a better feel. You still have a smooth ride it just handles a lot better

For the greatest roll control, slide the outer bushings (and brackets) out to the ends of the bar and slide the inner bushings towards the bends in the bar. The right-side bushing may interfere with the link.

For lessend roll control slide the outer bushings backwards, toward the bends, and the inner bushings inwards, toward the center of the bar.

Question

I have to get me a rear sway bar and it seems Addco and Stillen are the only alternatives. I like the Stillen but it is $$$. The Addco hardware does not look as good as the Stillen. The Stillen also looks like a cleaner design... I live in the Snow Belt and I don't want hardware that is going to rust after the first winter... How are your rsb's holding on??

Thanks

Addco is zinc chromate plated... should handle pretty well against rust and stuff.

when u turn (esp on ramp, off ramp) with fast speed, u will notice that one side of the car "sinks" and once when the turns is over, "it pops back up" that's body roll and if u just doing one turn, it seems not that bad, but once you are doing an S-shape, the second turn is going to be hard to control.

it does stiff your rear suspension a bit but u still can have a nice ride on our crappy bay area high way.
