HID'S + 2k2 + factory alarm = screw up??

I just noticed a few weeks ago that when i set off my factory alarm, it flashes the HIDS!! What the hell?? i thought this was bad for the HIDS??

I spoke to Scarbourough nissan about this and they said it was okay, so i told them have fun when i come in for new ballasts!!

This concerns me because i sold my compustar and was going to install a shock sensor on the factory alarm.. But knowing shock sensors, there are times when the alarm will just go off and BLAM there goes my HIDS!!

Anybody else notice this?? is this a retarded design flaw??

Strange isn't it..

Time to blow out the ballasts on purpose so NISSAN CAN FINALLY WAKE THE F*** up... and start fixing this tiny irratations..

Its under warranty anyways..

Go out ther 2k2 owners and start flashing your HID's until they blow, maybe they will start hearing the other problems plaguing the 2k2's LOL

well..

Acura's do it too.

Obviously, I'd really like it to flash Highbeams instead, but thats not going to happen. We've literally poured over the FSM, theres no easy fix.

I think a fellow org member found a way to fix it but looks like you have to do some jimmy-riggin to get it to work. It's like anding a couple wires cutting some and adding a relay.
