Installed Berk Intake But....
Two of the four screw holes on my MAF unit broke while trying to unscrew it from the stock air box. I ended up having to secure one half of the MAF unit to the aluminum adaptor using zip ties. Do you guys think this will do? I hope particles won't leak through. I also ended up drilling out two of the screws cause they ended up getting stripped. Damn Nissan screws those in tight and use the softest metal for their screws.

Sorry to hear about your installation woes! Here's how to fix it:
You should have plenty of leftover 10mm bolts that were used to secure the old stock air box to the chassis. Any of these will fit the supplied stainless steel nuts with the kit. Done deal. You now have a properly secured part.
Cheers,
Bryan

Thanks for all your suggestions. But I don't have any screw holes to screw anything into. The whole corner of the plastic MAF unit broke off on two ends. I'm gonna try to order a new part. I think it's the only way.

at $390 why don't you try buying a MAF from a junk yard. Try Nissan Only Wreckers, they're in Rancho Cordova, CA.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep this place handy. I was able to find a MAF unit from a place in Texas for about $100. Anyone know if I can actually use the sensor itself in place of mine? I'm just wondering if MAF sensors diff for CA specs or something.

390......thats cheap. I paid 500 for mine. I guess i got ripped off. Yeah any holes of leaks in the MAF after the sensor, or even before will sound strange first of all, and greatly diminish performance. It may make the car feel like there is a dead spot in the pedal......or throw a check engine light and put the car in "limp" mode.
try some junk yards. The 2'nd time i had to replace mine it was only $135.
