Nice to meet you guys!! I got a new MAX

Whats up guys, I hope to gain alot of important information from you guys and i will keep you guys updated with the awesome things i do to my car.

so far i have just changed the Nissan HID lights to the Acura TL HID because they give a much better purple color.

I also changed the clear bulbs in the driving lights to orange to complement the HID's and Turn signals

i have executive tints on it 35% all 4 windows rear window is 21%

I am thinking about dropping it a bit, give it better control, let me know whats the best thing for me.

Congrats, how easy was the swap to the TL bulbs? Do they use the same connector? and how much ? By the way nice color too!

Congrats! If I had to give any advice, go for the RSB first. I found this to be a real improvement over the stock handling. They can be had for about $120 bucks for the Addco (check out group buys). I haven't dropped mine yet because there aren't adjustables being produced for the 5th gen that don't require some modfications.

Congrats on the nice car!

Nice color choice indeed

You can drop it using aftermarket springs, your stock struts should be able to handle it if you have H&R or Maxspeed springs.

Otherwise, invest in an FSTB and RSB.

As far as the orange lenses go... i'm not feeling it, but hey! to each his own

Congrats on your new car. I just recently installed KYB AGX shocks and H&R springs and it looks great. Granted the KYB's and the strut tower mount had to be modified (you can get the modified shocks from Cattman.com), but it is worth it. Any good performance shop should be able to handle the mod/install. Just don't get the KYB's with Eibach springs..heard many problems with that combo.

My .02 says that you shouldn't bother with the RSB unless you have the FSTB to go with it. Also, I recommend the H&R or Eibach springs.
You totally threw is off guard with the TL HIDs though. Can you get us some more pics?

As for mods, your probably better off running a search on here for exactly what you're looking for. You said lowered but there are at least 3 different sets of springs and probably that many sets of strutts to go with them. Each combo is going to yeild something a little different. So be sure you know exactly what kind of ride you want before you decide on a purchase.

Congrats on the car! Got any night pics of the orange bulbs in the driving lights? I was thinking about doing that awhile ago. Changing that bulb is alot easier than clearing out the turn signal. Personally, I like the orange turn signal too. I think we're all pretty curious about the TL HID's.

TL HID's

well the first thing i did to see the difference was change one bulb and left the maxima bulb in there. i was amazed when i looked at them at night. after the gas heats up the nissan bulbs look more white(greenish tint) the TL looks much more (white purple) if i take a pic at night you might notice a difference, but im not sure, we will see what the camera can pick up.

..

I'd like to see those pics. It might show a little better if you bounce them off a white background(garage door) to show a side-by-side difference between the two.

Where did you get TL burners? How much?

Welcome aboard! Hope your credit cards are ready for the mod bug.

Depending on your camera, set the exposure to a higher number and leave it on a stand or any solid object.

Turn the Flash off as well. It would be a good idea to set an auto-timer so that it will take the photo w/o the vibration involved upon clicking the button.

That's a complete coilover kit. I think 2k2s is talking about adjustable struts like the KYB AGX.
