what does this do?

 

it removes the butterfly to allow more air to travel from the upper intake manifold to the block.

 

you will see a 1-3whp gain with this mod, but you will get about 20whp with nwp's spacer kit the VIAS plate and an SSIM.. Which we will be offering in a few weeks. but def buy Aaron's spacers. For his price you can't beat it. and they make one great product.

it took me about 20 min with simple hand tools

 

just more airflow with less restriction. Takes away low end torque, but you gain more high end at about 3500-4000 RPMs (this is so for the 3.5 altimas).
