Really? I never thought of this. Thought since the engines were the same that parts like this would be the same. Hey thanks anyway.

No I do not, for some odd reason the computer says the Altima has a different alternator for the 3.5.

Now I KNOW your computers are wrong. The 6th gen Maxima and the 3rd gen 3.5 Altima use the same alternator, starter, and a buch of other parts. It is odd that your computer states different, but the only logical explanation is that a human programmed the computer. OP if you have a 6th gen alternator, it will definently fit the 3.5 Altima.

That's what I thought.

Our system is based on part #'s, if the part # is different then it will say it won't fit, it gets better as time passes by because they start making updates to let you know which parts are compatible or not, but there are a lot of cars with a lot of parts, can't be 100% on every part yet.

Thanks for the input!

No worries, now how much again for a power steering pump? Just need to be from a 6th gen Maxima to fit.
