FS Modified headers to fit 6th gen Maxima
Bought these headers at a local shop here in El Paso.
Had them in my car for 6 months. Went back to stock since wife is using the car now.
These appear to be Altima Headers, so work was done on them to fit the 6th gen Maxima.
- The shop where I installed them, welded a plug for the EGR valve, that appears to be made out of 2 nuts welded together, and then on the header. *CHECK*
- Also the fitment wasn't just plug and play. As you can see, the y-pipe had to be cut and weld again because the 2 ends were not meeting right. *CHECK*
- The starter was on the way so the flanges of header and y-pipe had to be grinded to clear the starter. *CHECK*
No Check Engine light here
Upstream (precat) O2 sensors were just installed and plugged in. Downstream (after precat) O2 sensors had their cables extended. also there were Spark Plug Foulers (I believe that's whats called) were used to pull the downstream O2 sensors back, to prevent the CEL to turn on.
The car was loud enough for my taste. Also gained a little bit of noticeable HP and I had fun while I had them.
I had a video of headers but phone broke and lost everything with it. So here are some pics prior to boxing.
You will only receive the headers. No extended cables or anything else. Also the block gaskets were never used so im including them too.
Headers alone cost me $210.00 . Shop charged me $340 for all the mods and installation. Im letting them go for 170 plus shipping.
Here are some pics of mods, also some close ups of the welding areas to show that theres no cracks or imperfections. There are some scratches, but again, these are USED headers so that is expected.
Box weights 30lbs
W-20" / L-23.5" / H-7".
This is my first time making this kind of shipment so you can either calculate the shipping yourself from 79912, or give me your zipcode and ill do it myself.
Also only accept Paypal, And package will be shipped upon cleared payment on paypal. Thank you for looking
