Now that is nice! Put it on a G35 coupe platform with a 6 speed, I am all over it.

No offense... but I'd rather pay ten grand more for a G35 coupe and actually be able to sleep at night...

nice photoshop skillz though

No offense taken. I would do the same. This is just how I would like the 6th gen to look like. Thanks though.

should make sure there is no tooth, and increase V6 output
also push engine back like FM, but keep far ahead enough for car to be roomy (to differentiate from G35C)

I do think the 04 max is fugly, but this photoshopped coupe is kinda tight. So much for 4DSC, though. But really Nissan's just gone off the deep end with styling ever since the rear end of the 5th gen. I just hope people keep buying this ugly stuff so that they stay in business. Maybe by the time I can afford a really nice max (or other Nissan/Infiniti perhaps) that the styling has cycled back around to good-looking.

No every since the 4th gen rear end, I remember lots of mixed reviews on its rear end!

Your right about the Maxima/Alty look. I really don't like the new Max myself. I just wanted to play around with its' look a little bit. Here is another coupe I did. Perhaps it can be the predecessor to the I35.

if only it was real!!!!! that car is much better in coupe form than sedan(same goes with G35, but g35 sedan still looks good, unlike the max...)

Re: 04 Max Coupe

KI30t,

Man....you are very good at this! Would you mind blowing the picture car to..say, 20X24 print? I would love to have those two pictures hanging on my bedroom wall.

Heck, I probably even wait until 2020 and get the 04 Max, chopped it and make it look like the ones on the pictures.

Those are tiggggghhhttt!!!

Ardika,

I would if I could. The pic of the silver Max was taken from NissanUSA.com, thus it is a low resolutions image to start with. Blown up, it would look crapy and pixelated. If you have Photoshop, I can send you my original .psd files so you can play with it. You may come up with better ideas than I.

Re: Re: Re: 04 Max Coupe

KI30t,

Photography is another hobby of mine, and lately I have been shooting a lot of cars (my rental cars whenever I am away) and my Max too. Looking at your work, I honestly would pay $$$ to get your picture blown up to..say, 48 by 32 printed on glossy paper, framed and hang it next to my bed (I only have a studio) with your autograph on it.

I don't have Photoshop, but if you would send me the file, it's fine with me..but I am afraid I can't do jack about it. What I am looking for is really what I stated above. Man, I would probably make two copies and send one to Ghosn myself so that he could see your work.

That Max coupe of yours is spanking hot!
Man, only if they build one....or 1000 just for a limited production line (Nissan suddenly join Aston Martin for those "limited runs").

I looks good with the orange too. I don't think the colors are an issue on either the 97-99 or any of the fifth gens or the 6th gen for that matter. It's the shape. And I agree with Maddflasher, the rear of the 97-99 is fine.

i meant to say the lights look even better without the orange.. and ur right even with the orange it look very nice.. i personally like hte back of the 4th gen most. as for the front its hard to say which gen has the best.. 02-03s and 97-99 have really nice fronts

3rd gen was best of its time...the 4th and 5th gens were good but not the best of their time period
but they're gettin' a bit old now

That's another tasty coupe!

The red coupe looks good! Wow, I really wonder if any of Nissan design engineer will look at these pictures and take the G35 coupel platform and actually produce these Maxima coupes!

Personall, I like the orange one better. The red one looks sportier (more like RSX), but the orange one gets my vote.

This red one is tight as I don't know what!! But how come I haven't been seeing a fourdoor photoshopped this way? Dude see what you can make it look like with four doors! I like the way it's lower and the wheels are bigger and there's less gap and they seem to go up into the car more. Can't a four door have all that stuff too?
