Holy Raging RIPOFF Batman!!!
So my friend is buying a fully loaded 2k4 Max.. and the dealers JUST got em in (they came to Canada later than the states), and get how much one costs.
$48k Canadian, that's $30k US for Navi and all. They were all sold out btw for this price too, so a lot of ppl are jumping on them up here. Luckily my friend has a connection at Nissan and will be getting a good deal hopefully, but I though that these were ridiculously overpriced since I've seen ppl say here that they're selling for $26-27k already.
Oh well, just felt like sharing

My car was stickered at around 32k when I bought it ( I have Navi & every available option ) . I went to see the 2k4 , and they had a black one with Navi for 30k . I paid 29 k for mine, because we bought 2 Maxes on the same day. They seem to be cheaper for some reason.

holy ****! 48K CAN? man thats high considering that cars are actually supposed to be cheaper in canada. when i did my US model config it came to 40K CAN but it was in fact 3K cheaper in Canada

My 04 SL stickered @ $36k; I got a discount to $30k. I know I got a good deal. Have seen a lot of posts indicating they've paid $35k+ for the car. That is encroaching on some risky territory; Max competes well, but if I really were to pay $36k for something, I'm not sure it would be Nissan, or at least, I'd have to check other options. At the end of the day, I probably would come back to it 'cause there isn't anything out there like it. But at $30k, there definitely isn't anything out there like it.

I'll tell you this much, the most I've seen a Max go for in Canada is $41k cdn, and that was a brand new 2k3 fully loaded navi everything like couple of after it came out. That's why 48k is so steep to me.
Comparisons in Canada: Most expensive G35 Coupe you can buy is $50k cdn, that's 2k more than the max...
Most expensive 350Z is 46k
How do these prices sound in comparison the the 48k Maxima price to you guys in the US? Sound right? Doesn't sound right to me... I dunno
