12v Outlets on the 2K4

Not having a well trained sales staff @ my dealer, took 30 minutes to find the 12vdc outlet that I need to have for my V1 detector. Finally found it on the passenger footwell interior wall and then found the one under the console armrest insert. Guess Nissan does not want anyone to smoke or detect radar/laser emissions...Saw someone posted that they used the 12vdc from the remote dimming mirror, any1 able to tell me how they accomplised it?

I did this with my 2K2. All I did was tap the power wire from the RV mirror. I mounted the radar detector on top of the RV mirror. Works great.
