anyone know of a replacement for the 2004 Max grill

Does anyone know of a company that is going to offer a replacement for the 2004 Max grill or a custom place that can do the work?

40 people read this post, not one knows of a replacement. The grill has to be the ugliest thing I have ever seen on a car. If I could got rid of the grill, I'd buy the car tomorrow..

Be patient...

I'm sure in time, there will be a number of aftermarket replacement grilles offered... I personally don't think the stock grille is ugly... but I guess I'm the only one who feels this way!

i don't know if you noticed that i edited your first post. I did that for a reason. I am not going to let these threads get away into a grill is ugly, grill is not ugly.

You are entitled to your opinion and thats fine with me. However i am not going to let threads get away with opinions on the looks of the car. I made a post above for everyone to leave their opinions on the looks of the car.

Normally i would have locked or deleted this post. However you had a valid point with trying to find an alternative grill. I edited the post so it would direct the attention of the thread to you finding a replacement grill. Please don't bring the ugly grill thing back up again please.

Gee, I don't know if you have realized this, but the car has only been out a short time. YOu have to give grill makers time, impatient one.

This isn't Russia...So if you can't handle my post, that's your problem. Let people have their own opinions...it's ugly in my opinion. ISN'T that the purpose of a forum????

You're missing his point. There have already been many threads expressing people's dislike of the tooth-grille. We don't need to clutter every 6th gen thread with posts commenting about the grill. Either you like it or don't. There's no point on sh*tting yet another thread with comments like that.

I actually like it, I don't think I would spend the money on a replacement if there was one available.

Ugh, people even below newbies.

The car will look really good with a mesh like the JMS grill for the 2k2 and 2k3's. Start emailing some companies and telling them about the demand and need for a nice replacement grill. Have you all figured out if the grill can even be taken off? Make sure it's not connected to the bumper, if it is start calling body kit companies.

IMO...The middle section of the stock grill that s**** behind the nissan emblem is the only bad part of it. If only Nissan had left out that 4"*4" piece of plastic, the stock grill would look better than any aftermarket meshy stuff. The stock black grill minus that plastic gap and a blacked out emblem would look entirely t*ts. Just my opinion.

Yes, but you have to realize that this is a privately owned forum, therefore it's owners can do whatever they want with it's content. Everyone and their ****ing dog has discussed this already and it's time to move on.

I bet you Nissan's going to change the grill as part of the updated look of the 2005 Maxima. You know, like how the silver tails and bigger grill helped distinguish the 2002-03 Max from the 00s and 01s.

Re: WARNING HI-RES PICTURES

We lost the tooth but gained braces!!!!

I hope aftermarket manufacturers can make something that looks like a stock grill because most grills on the market today look out of place, and don't blend in well with the car's style, including this one.

Oh joy so now even the most mundane posts are subject to fascist censorship by people who with a god-complex as well. I can understand profanity and the like, but that was unacceptable, regardless of your reasons.

I haven't been here in a while, and now I won't ever come back..

you must have a comprehension problem. Censorship? who is preaching censorship?

i said he was entitled to his opinion, however it would have to be contained in an environment i saw fit. A thread stickied on the top of this forum that allowed you to voice your opinion on looks. What profanity did you see in the quote you just quoted?

Nope. You're not the only one. I'm a convert I use to hate the grill but it has grown on me and it actually looks good in person.
