2004 Maxima In Driveway
Re: 2004 Maxima In Driveway
I replaced my 2000 Ford Excursion with a 2004 Maxima SE on Friday! I love this thing. I opted for the Driver Preferred package and the power sunroof (I am not a big fan of the other one). It is a very slick car. There is one downside, speeding tickets
Actually, I do have one legitimate gripe. The fuse panel cover, which is located above the drivers left leg, falls off constantly. I have 250 miles on my car, and it fell off 5 times before I left it off. It is nothing that a bit of velcro won't fix, but it is still an annoyance.

04 Maxima faster than 02 altima....?
I do not know, the fastest I have had the Maxima is 75 mph. [only 129 miles on her ] http://www.cardomain.com/id/newmaximafour
Nice choice of color! Love that Majestic Blue. If I trade up for an '04, I'd love to get that color- but darker colors are a pain in the a** to keep looking good. They are very "high maintenance". Guess I'll have to go with Liquid Silver instead
I too have traded the 2002 3.5 SE Altima for the 2004 Maxima. In my case the Altima spent so much time in the shop that we were just tired of the hassle, had lost faith and expressed this to the dealership. They took pity on us and cut us a great deal on the new car. I think the Altima was sportier and lighter and maybe a little quicker, but the Maxima is a cruising machine with plenty of room for anything you want to do and has plenty of torque wrenching power. Best of luck to all of you who traded in the Alties.
