Nav System Problem

The Nav System has 2 heading options -- Heading Up or North Up. But, no matter which one I choose, the map always displays up as my direction of travel. I'd prefer up to always be north. Anybody else having this problem?

If you are using "bird's eye" view, you will always have your heading "up".
Switch to the other view and u should see the heading switch. Hope it works.

Right you are, Maxpride. I was on the phone for 1/2 hour with the Nissan help line yesterday and he had no clue as to what my problem was. It shows the value of a forum like this.

Thanks again.

Hey, old man river, how the hell can birdseye view work unless it points in the direction you are heading.

You are a genius!

Yes, that did occur to me after the fact. Thank you for taking the time to point it out so eloquently. You'll have to cut me some slack -- I was born and raised in New Jersey.

You left so why would you give me a hard time for living here.

Las Vegas is a better place to live IMO. Enjoy!

NV is a great place to retire. You can save a lot of money on income taxes since they don't have state tax there... if you don't blow that savings in a casino then you are golden
