Car financing
Car financing
I just noticed the following website that suggests internet financing may well be better than dealer, because dealers get a kick-back from the bank they're financing you through. And, dealers have ways of manipulating financing so that even if you buy at invoice you are still getting ripped. Has anyone used internet financing to buy their Max? Take a look at the below link and give us some feedback on financing do's and don'ts based on your expereinces:

Yanke is right, lowest APR is the way to go.
If you go through the dealer, there are a couple of things you will want to do-
1) You want to be careful of all the added crap they will try to get you to buy, or sneak in. Don't take their word for anything, make them show you the numbers.
2)Don't talk monthly price with them, always deal on the total cost. One thing you should do is figure out what you can afford per month, then go to a website that will figure out what the monthly costs will be. For instance. Check out the cost of a 20K loan over 60 months, 48 months, etc. Then do the same for a 16K, 17K, 18K, 19K, 21K, 22K, 23K at rates from 3% to 8% in .5% increments. Make yourself a spreadsheet so you know exactly where you will be. This way, if the numbers they are shoveling at you seem high, you have something to check them against.
Good luck
