Glove Box Woes

Has anybody had a problem with the right side of the glove box hanging out a smidge? Just noticed it....and it's really starting to rattle me now.....gotta keep oglin' it.

Peace!

Yes. Factory has noticed. I think there is a modified design coming into production soon. Won't help us. Mine isnt' too bad, but I like things to line up nicely. It is quite pliable; I was able to flex the plastic a bit and it looks pretty good.

Yeah, mine's got the "sagging" glove box door too. I thought I was getting too fussy, but the rest of the fit and finish is great.

My buddy noticed it and it really bothered me to the point where I took it in to get fixed along with my first oil change. The service dept. shimmed it but it's still a little off. I'm thinkin I'll try and shim it a little more or something.

Had to come out from lurkdom to respond to this one. Noticed the mis-aligned glove box door on day one and requested that it be adjusted. They decided the latch was crooked and a replacement was ordered. Alignment wasn't perfect but I went with it anyway. Well the glove box started to rattle but I thought it was something loose in the door panel. Door panel was opened to find nothing there. They blamed it on the sun glasses in the overhead storage. Wrong. I had a passenger press against the glove box door while driving and bingo, it's the door. Took it back two more times to get the door realigned and the rattle fixed. Don't know what they did but it's going three weeks now and door is still aligned and no more rattles.

Of course at first the salesman said "oh they are all like that" when I pointed out the alignment issue.
