for those who took there car back for the nav screen ?

for those who took there car back for the nav screen ?

did they try to clean it first or they just said we will order u a new screen? did they give u a hard timee?

I got mine changed 3 times. The problem.....every time they clean it up on the inside...they would end up scratching it....These screens suck...
A word of caution, please look at the pewter colored plastic cover..they remove it to change the screen...and if they use something like a screwdriver to remove it..they may end up scratching it too....

They are replacing mine. From what I have heard you can't clean the inside without scratching it up. The dealership hasn't given me a hard time at all. The only problem is I've been waitng now close to 2 months for a replacement screen to come in.

Is this a strictly 6th gen problem. Ive had mine for 1 and half years on my 2k2, and its fine.

evidently.....I have never heard of a 5th gen with this problem, YES I know 5th gens have problems too, just dont think this is one of them.

the dealer techs are the dumbest guys on the planet... dont they know how to fix anything without messing it up more.. ok commen sence tells u not to use a screwdriver to take off the screen and scratch the rest of the inside of the car..
